As a veterinary doctor, I had been working in the food business as a regulation for more than 15 year in the European Commission, before switching to development and cooperation, where I am thee head of cooperation sections in the EU Delegations, since 2015. In development, food security is a big challenge, and authenticity and correct labelling enforcement is strategic, in order to control frauds and avoid waste of food in circumstances of food scarcity.
