The UK Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) have commissioned Fera Science Ltd. to review current methods that are applicable for use in the detection and speciation of offal in meat products.


As part of the project we seek to determine the key requirements for future methods and may lead to future work undertaken by Defra.

We are interested in responses from all stakeholders in the meat supply chain: food producers, food retailers, government and analytical testing providers and enforcement officers. We have created a short (2 minutes) survey to answer this question.
